Welcome to Centre 31, launched in 2017 with 109 beautiful former street kids. In a short time, we have already seen amazing change in our kids – from very shy preschoolers, to bright and confident kids. It’s incredible to see how quickly they learn and grow, and through our Creative Genius program we can identify their unique God-given gifts and help to nurture their development. We also have the privilege of ministering to the kids’ parents – most of whom are motorbike taxi drivers, housekeepers, and factory workers. They earn very low wages and, without our support, could not afford to send their children to school. This is the cycle of poverty that we break – and in doing so we see hope restored to these lives. One child, family, and community at a time – we are transforming this Nation for Christ.
In September 2022 a new partnership was established for this awesome Centre. The partnership consists of four churches in the Illawarra area of NSW. We are thrilled with this partnership and we are actively working with them to connect all kids in the Illawarra Centre to a sponsor.
